What we need from you…

  • We need to see a recognised qualification in the courses you are looking to offer and this has to include a minimum of Manicure, Pedicure and Gel Polish due to this being the basic requirement to join the program. We also require 2 years minimum experience of offering these treatments.
  • We need to know that you have adequate facilities to hold the training courses in, however once again if you do not have a salon, then Cuccio has many suggestions to help you with finding a suitable training facility.
  • If you have areas that you feel need improvement we have a fantastic education team who will be happy to organise specific product training to help improve your skills. Please ask us about this and let us know what.
  • Once you have sent your CV, portfolio or links to social media and the completed questionnaire which accompanies this letter to info@cuccioafrica.com then Janine Marais – CEO Cuccio Africa will be in touch to complete a telephone interview.
  • Provided that the telephone interview is a success and your imagery meets Cuccio standards we will then ask that you join a 5 day training course which is free of charge. The 5 days of training will take you through all of the paperwork and complete product knowledge with hands  on time for practise allocated. Part of the 5 days is that you are assessed on an ongoing basis, as your nail skills and capabilities have been reviewed using photographic and video evidence only.
  • Should we find your skills are not where they need to be for this programme, we will put together a plan of additional training for you at R500 per day. Once this has been completed we will book you onto the next available training dates for you to carry on your training to become an approved educator. The kit will not be refunded. Kit purchase is required for the 5 days and comes at a cost to you.
